James A. Helmer Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of James A. Helmer, musician, artist, naturalist and lifelong learner. It is provided to first-year female students enrolled in any curriculum or certificate program. Preference given to female students returning to school as a result of life experiences and barriers to obtaining an education. Recipients must have a 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a consideration only if candidates are equally qualified. This scholarship is renewable.
