Grove Park Inn Endowed Culinary Technical Program Scholarship honoring Elaine D. Sammons

This scholarship was established in in honor of Elaine D. Sammons. It is awarded to students enrolled in the Culinary Arts program. Elaine Sammons was the wife of Charles Sammons who bought the historical Grove Park Inn in 1955. After Mr. Sammon’s death in 1988 Mrs. Sammons dedicated herself to preserving the heritage of the historic hotel. Recipients must have a 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to students with limited financial aid.
