Johnathan Giardina Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This endowment was established in 2004 by Nick and Deborah Giardina. It was established in memory of their son Johnathan Giardina (1970-2003) a former A-B Tech student enrolled in the Emergency Management Science (EMS) program. It is awarded to two students enrolled in the Emergency Management Science (EMS) program (one first year EMS student and renewable to a second year student). Recipients must have a 2.0 GPA. Preference is given to a member of the Buncombe County Rescue Squad (not BC EMS) , a person who is a volunteer of a rescue squad or fire department.
