Gnilka Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Gnilka Biology Scholarship is given by the Biology department of A-B Tech. Sarah Gnilka retired from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system as a biology teacher and came to A-B Tech where she worked as an adjunct for 10 years until her untimely death in 2012. The scholarship is awarded to 2nd year Biology/ Science majors in memory of Sarah’s dedication to the learning of the sciences and the devotion she bestowed on her students in their efforts to succeed. Recipients must have a 3.0 GPA.
