John DeWitt Browning Accounting Scholarship

This scholarship is was established in 2019 in memory of John DeWitt Browning. It is provided to second-year students enrolled in the Accounting program. Other requirments include: 3.0 GPA. John Browning briefly attended A-B Tech before transferring to the UNC Asheville with a BS in Accounting and a BA in Economics. He was a voracious reader, keeping him abreast of his ever-changing accounting field, history and current events. John will be remembered for his determined spirit in life, his love of family, and his smile that touched the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
