John DeWitt Browning Accounting Scholarship

The John DeWitt Browning Accounting Scholarship was established in 2019 by Mark and Jennifer Browning in memory of their beloved son John DeWitt Browning (1991-2019). John Browning briefly attended A-B Tech before transferring to the UNC Asheville and graduating with a BS in Accounting and a BA in Economics. He was a voracious reader, keeping him abreast of his ever-changing accounting field, history and current events. John will be remembered for his determined spirit in life, his love of family, and his smile that touched the hearts of those who knew and loved him. The scholarship is provided to second-year students enrolled in the Accounting program.
